Andante Voice Studio is a private music studio begun by husband and wife team, Colette Boudreaux and Scott Joiner. The musical term andante is used to suggest a calm and steady tempo. The word itself, however, is Italian and means "walking" or "going." It is this idea of continuous progress that inspires the teaching at the studio. Music as an art is a process - taking one step at a time towards a goal - and the best results come when the emphasis is focused on the journey. This is why every student who comes gets the first lesson free. In this meeting, the potential student and the teacher will have the opportunity to discuss the needs and goals of the student, the type of music the student prefers, the strengths and weaknesses of the student, and how the teacher plans to address those issues.
Because our teachers are active and consummate performers, they bring their varied experience back to the studio in staying up to date on the latest audition techniques, trends in the performance community, and necessities for a successful experience.
So, whether you want to make All-State, pursue music as a career, expand your current capabilities, prepare for a local production, or rediscover your talent later in life, Andante Voice Studio is ready to help you become the performer you want to be.
