Announcing Garlic Fest 2013
Easton Garlic Fest is going to stink up Centre Square for two days this year, Saturday and Sunday, October 5th and 6th 10am – 5pm
Expect to be bowled over this year as we present garlic!
Raw, cooked, sweet, savory, and even bottled.
Our farmers are going to sell it, our chefs are going to cook it,
our bands are going to sing about it, our artisans are going to be inspired by it,
but best of all and you can come and eat it!
Back this Year, our wildly successful Mystery Basket Iron Chef Cook-Off!
Mystery Basket Chef Cook-Off
Last year at the Easton Farmers Market Farm to Table Stage we held our first ever “Mystery Basket Competition”.
Chef Abe Lopez of Valenca Restaurant right downtown on Centre Square was our winner!
Chef Lopez created a gorgeous meal using all fresh ingredients from the market.
Shoppers from the Easton Farmers Market were chosen to select ingredients from our
famers to put into a basket that was presented to Chef Abe Lopez from Valenca in Easton and Tyler Baxter,
Co executive chef of Cosmopolitan in Allentown.
They went garlic head –to-garlic head in a 30 minute show down to see who could create
the best stinkin’ dish.
Stay tuned to see who will be our Mystery Basket Cook-Off chefs this year

3 Mayors Cook-Off
Our 3 Mayors cook-off will be back when Easton Mayor Sal Panto invites the
Mayors from two other Lehigh Valley Cities to the Easton Garlic Fest.
Each one will show up with a chef from their City and, with the Mayors as Sous Chefs,
compete to make the best garlicky dish.
